この地上にある苦しみは天国には最早存在しない
この地上での人生は短く、天国での生活は永遠に続く。
また、ローマ12:2より「この世と調子を合わせる」ことについて、自分が若い時に（友人は多い方ではなかったが）、相手に受け入れてもらえるよう、たまに調子を合わせていたことがあった。
その後の人生で、そのような努力がなんの価値もないことがわかった。
もっと早くこの聖書の真理を知っていれば、通らなくても良い苦しみが沢山あったと思う。
I listened to the message on 1 Peter 3 and 4. I learnt again that there is no suffering when we get to heaven, as there is on earth. I was very encouraged
(even many years ago, but again today) to learn that though our life on Earth is short, our time in heaven will be infinitely longer.
Also from Romans 12:2, about "going along with the world" I remember that when I was young, though I had few friends, sometimes I joined in with people to try and get their acceptance. Later in my life (now), I realize that all the effort was not worth it at all. I If I had learnt this truth earlier, it would have saved a lot of pain.
